Avoid bar soaps and soaps that contain moisturizers, we recommend the Amber Sun Body Wash.
Waxing, pedicures and facials should be done more than 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Please DO NOT wear any deodorants, makeup, perfumes, or lotions as they result in inconsistent and strange coloring.
DO NOT wear any form of makeup.
Bring dark, loose fitting clothing and flip-flops or pedicure sandals to wear afterwards.Tight clothing can rub the tan completely off in most areas.
It is recommended to wait at least 5 hours before putting on tight clothing.
Remove all jewelry.
Remember to bring your bathing suit, if you so choose.
Bathing suit OR undergarments are required.
Shower in 8-12 hours using a body wash or shower gel.
We recommend the NORVELL Optimize pH-Balancing Cleanser.
You must use an wash or gel as they contain less alkaline than regular bar soap.
You will see the cosmetic bronzer wash off, this is normal.Moisturize twice a day with alcohol-free lotion.
We recommend EUFORA AloeTherapy Moisturizer or NORVELL Pro-long Color Extending Moisturizer. Hydrated skin makes your tan last longer and slows down the process of natural skin exfoliation.
Alcohol based products and Alpha-Hydroxy Acids are drying to the skin and can cause tan to fade quicker and unevenly.
Avoid exfoliating skin and hair removal products.
When showering, use you hand instead of wash cloth.
Taking long hot baths or soaking in the pool can accelerate exfoliation and fade your tan.
When swimming or soaking in hot tub, use a water proof sunscreen to help seal your skin and avoid color loss.
The tan will still fade a little, but this will slow down the fading process.
